Instructions for creating a Secretary Deposit Report to Treasurer (Excel version)


This EXCEL TEMPLATE is used by the Assistant Secretary or Secretary pro tem either directly into the EXCEL template, or a blank template. At a later date the Secretary will enter the information into the QUICKBOOKS file that he, and only he has authorization to change.



Replace the words TEMPLATE with current DATE (EX: 06122011)


SAVE AS, change TEMPLATE file name to: (EX: 06122011 Sec DEPOSIT to Treas.xls)

Note:


Send new EXCEL file (.xls) to Roger so he can update QUICKBOOKS


Print two copies of the new (EX: 06122011 Sec DEPOSIT to Treas.xls) file


One copy to Treasurer so he can make a bank deposit, he will attach BANK DEPOSIT RECEIPT to his copy


Second copy is filed in Secretary’s Workbook, with the Treasurer’s signature
