Subject: Emeritus Membership – Annual Certification

Dear Brother «LAST_NAME»,

The Grand Lodge of Florida requires that the Lodge Secretary contact each Emeritus member annually to verify that your life situation continues to qualify you to be exempt from paying dues.

If a family member is reading this and your loved one is not able to respond, let us know. Masonry is a family and we don’t want any member to be improperly suspended. No member who has come upon hard times is ever suspended, if the Brother or his family communicates with the Lodge.

Please contact the Lodge Secretary to confirm that you still qualify to be carried as an Emeritus member. If there is no response on or before December 27th, Masonic Law requires that your membership must be suspended.
