Subject: Second Notice - Delinquent Dues – SAMPLE # 3

Dear Brother _________________,

I have not heard from you since my letter in June. I am required by the Grand Lodge of Florida to send a FINAL NOTICE to all dues delinquent members on October 1st. As I have previously stressed, if you are indigent, we can bring your situation before the Craft and handle it appropriately. However, we need for you to provide us the information necessary to show cause as to why you should not be SUSPENDED in December.

The very survival of Masonry is dependent on the support of all its members. Each of our members is key to our future and a response from you will let us know how to handle your situation. As I stated in previous letters, if you are indigent and unable to pay your dues, just contact the Secretary. If my records are in error, please let me know so that I can bring your membership file up to date.

It would be very much appreciated if you would remit either of the following:

$75.00 Dues for 2008, including Grand Lodge per capita

$78.65 Dues for 2008 which includes a voluntary contribution of a penny a day for the Masonic Home

If I don’t hear from you before the second Stated Communication in December, the Lodge must SUSPEND you for non payment of dues. The courtesy of a reply would be very much appreciated.

Sincerely and fraternally,

Roger McKay, Secretary
